Home Depot, Lowes, and my local ACE all had minimal selection of grits.

I didnt think about Advance Auto, NAPA or Wallmart, though... why in the world didnt I think about Wallmart??

Thanks for the links and suggestions, guys! If this is the hardest parts of my restores, I am good to go!

Pah... I admit, I am an idiot. Just found everything I need on Amazon Prime. Have no idea why I didnt find them in my initial search.

Uh, are you referring to Forest Gump's Mother's Famous Quote??

About the Wet-n-Dry Sandpaper--'IF' You have Free Shipping all is well, if not then I would presume buying local would be the better choice.

An idiot is as an idiot does? I suppose that could fit in this case, since my initial search on Amazon was done like an idiot, since I didnt find what I was looking for the first time, and then swam in choices the second time. And thus answering my own query. Free shipping on it all, as well, since it's Amazon Prime.

And yes, I usually prefer to move my money to local mom and pop shops when I can... but as mentioned, my ACE didnt even have half the grits I was looking for.

    Free Shipping is always good

I am glad that you had checked out the local businesses!

Once the desired sandpaper is acquired, if you could please post your work in progress via pictures many of us would like to see it

Also, you can get the higher grit sandpaper at hobby stores that deal in models, model cars, planes etc.

I use Rynowet red paper - found it much superior to 3M. Since I use a lot I buy in packs of 50, but you can get packs of 10 as well from here:
