I like Mass, Semi-Chrome, Mothers and Puma. I get pretty much the same results from all but admit to favoring the Puma a bit more lately and I am not sure why.

Thanked: 49Flitz and Simichrome both work well. I don't know this for sure, but Simichrome may have a VERY mild abrasive like Brasso, Flitz does not as far as I know.

IIRC, that was the stuff that we used on brass back in the day when we didn't want to remove the lacquer from things like jacket buttons and a jewelers rouge cloth wasn't cutting it. When the lacquer had to go like on a belt buckle, we used Brasso and Brasso on shirt cardboard when removing scratches.
