Next on my bench is this Japanese Towa;

Spent a bunch of time on it already with mothers and steel wool, but decided I had to take it apart to really do it right.
What's note worthy, for me, is that I revisited trying to drill out the old pins again. And succeeded in saving the original washers!
Difference this time is I filed the head three strokes before centrepunching. And held the scale in my left hand sort of biasing the drill bit in the direction I thought it should go , as Shaun suggested a ways back. Anyway, yea! Will be able to clean the insides proper, and reuse the original brass.
