No, I'm kidding. You had linked to AJ on ebay a while back. I went to his ebay store and he had these and the bullseye so I got a pack of each.

Scales are only template material now and the tail looks bent upwards to me, with significant rot.

Could be a candidate for either some silver solder or tig weld rebuilding of the tail prior to reassembly.
Thoughts and suggestions always welcome.
Cheers.
Fantastic looking blade Mike, but I see what you mean by the tail being bent. Is it possible to take the temper out of that specific are and bend it back? I wouldn't think hardened steel would be needed in that area anyways.
Thanks Andrew.
That's what I'm thinking as well. And if I am heating it up some, why not a little borax and solder to try to build it back up and file it down?
Figure if I clamp it in the vice with just the tail exposed, the vice will act as a heat sink and I can use either a bit of oxy/acety, or tig at low amperage to build it up back to the pivot.
That area would hide any transition marks in the steel I think and beyond the pivot the meats still good.
The rest of this razor is in fine shape really and it's a great candidate for that last bit of red horn I have.
If you are going to tig it put a rattle on the end.
