to elaborate on my earlier post, this is my doming method
drilled a divot in my pinning anvil (a blind flange) matching the size of a washer (micro fasteners #0)
get a 4-5mm nail punch & large blunt center punch
place washer in divot ROUNDED side down
a light tap with the center punch
this will dome the washer
remove washer from divot this shows the doming
flip over & place back in the divot
a couple of light taps using the nail punch
this is the tricky bit to keep the lip even
domed washer made with flat edge lip

same deal with the #00 washers but I only do the first step & don't give them a lip
place in divot rounded side down
light tap with center punch to dome
remove & done

can be stacked

finished items on buff horn
Attachment 221056
if this helps at least 1 person I will be happy
& still cheaper than a doming set (especially in Aus)
cheers
