Thread: sports shirt micarta

I've just started experimenting with making micarta. This is my third attempt, it's made from a synthetic sports training top. At the moment I couldn't really tell a good piece from a bad piece, but to my novice eye this seems to be pretty good.

Has anyone else tried using this material? (the stuff soccer shirts are made from). I like it although I've not tried to work it yet, I've got a nice red injun somewhere that I think I'll try it on.
