My work the last 2 months...
So I've been really busy the last 2 months during my vacation... I have leaned quite a bit and am excited to share my progress as I always have been... I had the pleasure of having these 3 Dubl Ducks called it duck hunting at the time lol... The satin edge was by far my favorite, I have never been a fan until I came across this one... I really couldn't find any washers to match so I couldn't put washers close to it so that was pretty hard not to put the oringinals hahaha...
Here are a couple restores I did, a Frederick Reynolds W&B FBU and everyone will be proud, oringinal everything, that's a new one for me lmao...
Good to be back... This year should be an amazing year for me... The workshop is leveling up and new equipment is coming... once my HT oven comes in the mail I'll be completely self sufficient..
Here the W&B FBU 8/8 everything original
The Ducks... 7/8 Special 6/8 satin edge 6/8 golden edge
Dont know where the scales came from but they are awesome lol
And lastly my custom razors the first one was mild steel so practice
the second is 01 steel but I actually messed up the grind so back to the drawing board on that one lol
But anyway it's great to be back and can't wait to share more of my journey...
thankfully my I no longer need to ask for help or ask for people to give opinions... So I'll be quiter and just post my work every month or something...
thanks guys!

Thanked: 0Really awsome work! When you ground those blades, did you use the sander in the background, or a wheel? Forgive me if this is a dumb question, I'm new to knife making, hopefully soon I will have one to show, I'm ordering a billet of Damascus steel soon for a project. What is the black stuff on the blade you'er grinding? Protection where you don't want to grind, or does it show where you have ground (ie the entire blade is covered with it till you grind it off.)
When you shape a blade, from stock steel, do you use a wheel, or a belt sander ?
