I hope you have enough room to trim them up.
Do you have screws to assemble it for testing?
You can always use paper clips inn a pinch.
They are about the right size.
I would take one scale put some masking tape on the inside and put the blade in it, then mark where the blade goes to.
Then take your other scale, place it on top and see if you can trim it up with the distance you have set already.
Sounds complicated, but it's easy to see that way.

Thanked: 20Hey Chev, thanks for the info. First, I take no credit for any of the work I'm doing. All I have done is read and proceed as per the threads, comments and pictures of others.
To give a progress report and answer your questions.
I have all the necessary Micro-fastener hardware. I'm waiting for my package with the little Hex wrenches they sell that should arrive this week.
WR00, WR0, WR1 - two of each.
I measured both the new and old scales very carefully and they are all 5 25/32" in length.
I also measured the distance from the toe of the razor where it sits in the scales at the wedge end, to the end of the scale both old and new and the distance is 21/32"
I took a handful of old 'sit in the drawer' wedges including the old wedge from this particular razor and my new wedge that I made from a piece of the old scale material is perfect.
After doing a mock up with hex bolts and nuts I found that the blade wasn't centering properly. It was almost rubbing on the left hand side. I checked the blade as per the info found here on the forum and it is a bit wonky at the tang.

I dismantled and took off scale material from the inside of the right hand scale in progressive stages, and it now sits top dead center and is perfectly centered.
All I have to do now is touch up some of the MinWax on the inside of the scale, pin it and hone it. Will post pics when done.
