    Sorry for your loss.
    You say that the buffer caught the edge, did you buff with the wheels rotating towards the edge?

    Sad to see the results but the positive is no bodily damage and no loss of eyes.

    Just post the images on Ebay and describe as edge just needs honing and a new set of scales for the restorer.
