Wow, that is some truly amazing wood. I have some stabilized burl blanks, mostly for my son's knife-making. I got 'em as cut-offs from a friend who does beautiful custom art-type furniture, and shared some with a knife-making friend who has the "Cactus-Juice" vacum setup in exchange for keeping me supplied. but I've tried a couple on razors, and love the way it finishes up. It really behaves almost like an acrylic, I guess because it mostly is after curing.

I've got to get some of the dyed stuff for razors now! Aaron

Just a quick note, since you've not worked with wood in the past you want to make sure you've got at least a mask on when you're making all that saw dust. Inhaling the dust can be an irritant at best, and toxic at worst!

yeah I actually got the best results from the buffer and I buffed it like a acrylic and boy it shined up! I want to dye and stabalize my own woods hoping in the next 3 months I'll be all set up!

Yes sir! I sit with a full respirator on and with everything I'm grinding including steel, g10, carbon fiber, horn, ect I make sure to make the most precaution and even have an industrial shop air purifier that has
