    Default Uneven edge?

    i have a razor that has an uneven edge! not the bevel the entire edge. How do i correct this?

    If its not real bad, live with it. If you just bought it new return it. There is no solution that I know of.

    I corrected one with a belt sander. It ground the smile right off.

    thanks guys! the problem is its not new and i dont have a belt sander.

    I have a "Genuine Rattler" with washboard edge. I think someone tried to get rid of some chips, not knowing how of course.

    I'm going to tape up the spine and do a few rounds on the coarse DMT plate, see what happens.

    Try honing on some 500-1000 grit sandpaper to even out the edge. Slow but sure.
