    Look at the scales

    That small amount that is past the pivot pin..

    If they are curved inward, and touch the tang during rotation this will cause uneven tension

    actually just looking through that gap will tell you quite a bit about contact points, simp[ly hold the razor up and observe the rotation from the top and bottom of the razor with a bright light behind the pivot and look for contact points
