Man, outback! Your Waterville has seen better days?

And 'Tuzi! As I look at that crusty thing, all I can see is how lovely it shall be as you restore it.
I reckon you got the bevel going first this time?

Mine shaves so good, I may well just let it be.

Thanks, yes it's in the queue for a resto along with some other beauties. Bevel first this time and what a hard won battle that was! Took a bit longer than I expected, I felt like I was cramming for an exam last night Turned out a nice shave though!

The cool thing about the waterville is, there's only a few teeny weeny pits in it,
    Its all patina, all original.
There is a water etch on the b side of the blade, but not rusty, or pitted. I'll post pics of it tonight after work.

BTW. It shaves like the Wosty ,on loan.

Glad you guys like the description. It's the best I could do with out a camera. I've got to get the neighbor kid to come over with his camera and computer skills so you guys can see what I shave with.

I saw this departure from our normal pics as an opportunity to try some stuff that had been collecting dust.

The soap was not so good. It took a lot of effort to get a lather. I will try it as a pre-lather for a few days.

The razor belongs to my barber. It honed well and I took it directly from a 16K Shapton to my face. No stropping. It shaved well.

The Old Spice Cologne belonged to my wife's uncle. Not a lot of scent left. The bottle is ceramic so it is a keeper.

Al in all, not the most comfortable shave but good enough.

    This was a fun project.
