Very nice, glad you were able to keep the etching. I really like how the spine looks with the scales when closed, the curve fits nicely. Sometimes that's hard to do, not closing too much and not closing too little. It's a keeper!

I thank you all for the compliments they really do mean a lot to me. Also thank you sharptonn and mikeB52 for the tip about removing the inner washers.

On another note i want to try to get some pictures in the sun tomorrow. Although really dark the horn does have some streaks of translucency in it.

Well I finally got around to shaving with the Wilton so I guess it's time for that shave report. I'm not exactly sure how these things work but I'll point out the things that caught my attention. Overall the shave was rather smooth it definitely felt heavy in the hand which led to a few Nicks but all in all not too bad. I definitely failed to even out the weight between the scales and the blade but I have to say I kind of expected that. It's definitely really tricky getting to the hard spots underneath the nose and on the chin as well as right under the ears all in all it's definitely not my favorite shaver but by all means it's not a bad razor.

I also tried to get pictures of the in the Sun didn't turn out quite how I would like them to but you can at least see a little more of the streaking that I was talking about.

You should consider using collars made from sheet brass stampings vice solid stock. The solid collars will not form to the contours of the scales.

I noticed that and thought the same thing after. Next time I'll do better. [emoji53]

or you could hammer the flat washers over a piece of round stock to make them fit more closely to your scales profile...
