    Agree with all that been said, looks very good, the only thing I see that I think needs improvement is that huge spacer on the scales. Like BobH mentioned a wedge is needed, perhaps even the wood scales could be thinner under 1/8. Great Job!
    One more thing stamp or engrave your work.
