Butterscotch would be cool, need to darken the tan with the dyes some experimentation I reckon.
I got my stabilizer from woodchuckers Andrew, but my alumilite supplies from plasticworld in Downsview.
I'll throw a combo scale and brush blank in with that saved bog blank and set it aside for you Andrew. Which do you prefer, the red or blue?
Would enjoy seeing what you do with the stuff.

Turned back to a couple of bullet brush castings today as the knots arrived and I was eager to see them all cleaned up.

Hope to have these both set to cure tonight and back to Akron before the huts are off the ice.

Sorry my friend, but the 'huts' and the ice brought this to mind, sorry about the short clip at the fence before the On the Ice Scene.

Thanks gents, appreciate the feedback. This shape works best with the bigger handle I think.

    Classic bit Roy.
Just remember, your insurance doesn't cover you on frozen lakes! My buddy found out the hard way in college when his truck went through.

Both of them are done and knots set. Note the 44 had a more dead center firing pin I guess. The resulting turn was more centered accordingly.

And here's the pair with one I turned out of that last blank I made as well. To go with the spike.

You could remove the primer take it apart and flatten the primer dent. Reassemble and then put a new dent in the center.

Maybe a little work but compared to the whole in making this brush not much.
