Very nice Mike. You will have it down in no time.
Here's Rev 3.
This time in the clear cast resin, dyed blue and pearl added and mixed while still liquid. Then into the pressure pot @60psi for 12 hrs. Much slower cure on this material.

Think I'd like a car this colour actually,, hehe. But all kidding aside, the parting lines are a non issue when I cast like this. Easy to trim and sand up with micro mesh.
And it's hard to convey in pictures but the sparkle is throughout the handle so it has a real depth to it. Changes shade as you turn it in the light, like pearls do..
Might actually finish this one...
Cheers..
Awesome Mike, no clue why but it puts me in mind of a squid.
Excellent, Mike! You are an ingenious and talented craftsman. The definition of a renaissance man.
You description of the colour combined with the picture makes me think it is a hit. I hope it become the centre of your brush collection. It sounds and look delightful.
It does remind of the Mustang paint job of a decade ago?
Turned blue, purple, etc as you looked at it right!
