I can't be sure but it looks like you'll definitely need new scales/besides the breakage as it appears that the old celluloid scales seem to be deteriorating and 'gassing' which means that they are creating an acid vapor that has started to eat the steel of the blade. Please contact who I have recommended to help you.
Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdin’s cave of 'stuff'.
