Thread: Uncentered blade

I tightened my grelot now it doesn't center perfectly. There was enough wiggle before. I've heard that tapping one way or the other will move it. I experimented a bit but no clear answer.

Sometimes there is enough play between the pivot pin and the hole in the razor, you can physically move the scales up or down. Try and lightly slide one scale side up or down to see if the blade re-aligns when closing. Similar to camber and caster with the pin acting as the axle. Worth a try, Good luck sir.
