Thread: Removing scuff marks from scales

It depends how deep. If not bad 1000,1500,2000,2500 grits wet or dry. Then polish with Mother's.
Works on horn, bone, celluloid, hard rubber.

What are the scales made of? Is this a valuable razor? Does it have sentimental value? Or, is it a day to day shaver?

I would use different approaches based on the answers to these questions.

Your welcome,,, Sally's is a treasure of tools for buffing leather, plastic, glass, metal and just about anything that needs buffing.

Sally's would be a fine place to set up the honing table? Right out on the sidewalk?

This work for me too. Works great! I use Mother's Plastic Polish. Good for taking the scratches outta yer safety glasses, too.
