Go online and see what the mfgr of the epoxy suggests. May be a way to dissolve it still.
5 minute stuff is actually the least strong of the epoxies, almost brittle.
Basically, as a rule, the faster the cure, the weaker the bond in the epoxy world.
    Good luck Bob..
Soaking in kerosene, or acetone, or toluene may work and still not destroy the ivory

OK, panuke over. Some time in the deep freezer, sometime under the bosses hair dryer and presto. Will have to save the Kamisori idea for another day, drat.

Ok now remember after you get the tang back on to have a 2nd cup of coffee before trying to pin the scales. Not sure how one would pin them on backwards but better not to try and find out

    Nice save!
Looking at it now, it totally reminds me of the one I got with the wooden tang that was founded in a hole in a wall.
    Is that a WB Bob?
I did an ivory retang with the help of Tom on it.
    Going to look beauty sir!

    Thank you.

No makers marks that I can see on this razor just the medical instrument makers shop name and address in Glasgow on the tang cover.

I bet doing that ivory retang was a finicky business. Hats off to you for doing it.

Around page 360 in the butchered blade thread was where I recorded the restore work but I'd say yours is a twin with a different toe profile.

I ended up making an ivory on brass tang and redid the makers mark with my laser.
Scales are bone dyed to age.
Great shaver. Enjoy the results of your labor.

Yes, you could be right that mine is a WB like yours. There is an uncanny resemblance. Laser you say. Now that is interesting.
