    As long as it's not rotating into the edge, you stand a pretty good chance of keeping both of your eyes in good working order and more importantly, the blade intact

    Another free advise: Be very, very careful using a powertool, even/especially a Dremel, around your precious straight, because all it takes is a millisecond's loss of control/concentration and the blade can be ruined. Speaking from experience here.
