Thai Green Horn
I managed to get a rare piece of Thai Green Horn.
The photos may not show a true representation of the colour.

3.5mm ish.
I'll show it again once the blade is seated
I'm struggling mentally with the wedge at the moment.
It has to look drop dead amazing but not blingy. The razor is really special.

Thanked: 4827Looking good. I would say some streaked black horn for the wedge. The streaks may or may not show through the translucent.

Maybe. ..The problem with translucent horn for a wedge is that it will be black due to lack of light . There is lining and collars to consider also. I might just try to keep the whole thing light green and silver. Until i start doing and not thinking i won't really know ..
Thanks Shaun

I think that lead would be too heavy because the wedge needs to be thick because the tang is very thick...also i will line the wedge with a metal, more weight.
I'll tell you what i'm thinking now after my epiphany in the shower .
I think that green and gold belong together. So i will line the wedge with brass and use brass collars and pins.
The wedge has to be light in colour because the scales are a bit muddy in colour. White bone for a wedge or ideally a piece of yellowy white mammoth tusk which i dont have so forget that..
Still thinking though
Thanks for the input guys it does help
