    I agree. Those scales will look nice on that old blade. What type of pins and collars are you going to use? I am sure it will be fabulous when its done. Please share the finished product.

    Thanks for the advice , but the scales I have made are actually too thin for the heavy wedge and the razor will be totally out of balance I have now realised . The scales on the Leveaux are not too bad , no bug bites , no nothing , and after a soak in oil the polished very nice . I'll just have to make a lead wedge to add . The scales of the Bartmann cracked again and they are imo beyond repair. I watched a youtube vid from 'Lewis Razors' making new scales in wood for a Bartmann and I must say that the result doesn't look too bad. Same shape as the scales I made ... So I'll give it a try ...
