Thanked: 56Yeah, that is a good idea it "shouldn't" take me long to bring it back. I think I may be able to do it just slurrying the Thurningian. But, I know I can do it if I go back to 4K. Just have to do some experimenting.
I have cut some little 2" by 3" strips of leather and have about 1/2" of one end covered with polish. I think it has worked pretty well. It is soft enough that it can fit into the hollow.
But, yall seem to be under the impression that I am just trying to shine them up. I think I am going to have to hit them with 1K sand paper to smooth some rough edges, and then polish them up. And then, after I have done 50 or so razors, maybe pull these pins out and put them back in nicer. If you're wondering I'm probably being sarcastic.

Thanked: 56That is mostly why I am posting things in this thread, including my thoughts and things I don't really need feedback on. So, the basics will sort of flow with the process. Then I can came back to this one when I am working on my next set.
But, I may take on a project of curating the what are you working on thread. If nothing else it will force me to read it. It will probably not come to anything, but if I do I will figure out a way to post it.If you're wondering I'm probably being sarcastic.
