Thanked: 634New carved scales
Thought I would experiment and try carving a set of Mahagany scales. Worked with x-acto knife and Dremel. Sanded and coated with Danish oil. Nothing to put them on yet but will have them when I find the right blade.

Thanked: 56That looks really cool. Have to keep your razor clean though, because company could see it when it is closed .
If you're wondering I'm probably being sarcastic.

Thanked: 634It should be kept clean either way. I never put a razor back in rotation with residue left on the blade.

Thanked: 56Sorry. That part was just a joke. Just what I think whenever I see things that let people see what is usually hidden.

Are you going to line the scales or just leave them hollow? Id be a little afraid of breakage when it flexes. But depending on the thickness it might be fine. They look good Leonard!
It's just Sharpening, right?

Very impressed, they would even make an old beater look special.
