    Default Today in the workshop

Messing around today in the workshop with a Wade & Butcher Rattler maybe a 7/8th.. I did notice on the inner of a scale a pressed mark "2.W" I cannot remember if i have seen pressed markings on the inner of horn before?

On top of that and something bugging me Is this razor "Josh Drake Sheffield"
So far i have found no maker or shop/company to associate this with. Has anyone any ideas?

Also I rescued this "William Ryals Warranted" No before pictures but it was in a sorry state.. This is just the first draft, I may give it a satin finish because a satin on top of a mirror looks really neat. The scales are really nice (for my tastes). They will take a week or so to complete. Fixing a long split etc.

I used to have a William Ryals. Traded it for something I needed, but boy I would get it back if I could. Text wasn't clear on mine so I kept looking for "Ryan" at first. Nice find and nice work!

Oh I think it one of the scale-makers in Sheffield who stamped their Horn scales.

    Scale pressers. Hafters?

    Some stuff from Neil Miller.......https://sharprazorpalace.com/worksho...rn-scales.html
