Agreed. I always hone in a quiet place so I can hear the sound of the blade on the hone on either side. Make both sides sound same.
One side, your hand will be a bit lower. If you didn't know, it would cause no concern.. You likely would not notice?
It has been my observation that any razor has another side. Most start out somewhat different, I think. Move them towards each other for best results.Last edited by sharptonn; 10-18-2024 at 03:48 AM.
