bone scales
Here is my first set of bone scales, it is a Robeson blade with a bocote wedge. I cut the bone from a bone from the pet store. I will see how they work out.

I cut them out on the band saw using an old blade. The bone is not that hard to work. It does stink though when you work it.

Great, now I can add one more item to work with. First wood, then horn, and now bone. I have a couple of older razors with bone scales. I really like them, so maybe I should run out and find some.
