Shaved with my F. Finney Tally-Ho wedge this morning. Wish it looked as nice as that one! Great shavers though. Nice work Gary - looks perfect!

Buddel,I wet grind them up to 1200 grit(can be up to 6 grits depending on how much material has to be removed),then on to the buffing wheels, usually 4 grits(up to 6 for the EELL shine).I try to stay away from flap wheels, and such. There is no easy way out, that I have found, but it sure beats the hand sanding that some guys have reported they are doing.Best Regards gary

    Gary,

I was unable to locate the information I was looking for on previous threads, could also be newbie inexperience. The question is what tools are you using when you "wet grind" is it a bench top grinder or a dremel style tool. If it is a bench grinder how do you secure the blade while working?

    regards,

    gerard

Thanks, very much appreciated, how do you secure the blade from twisting or biting you?

It's a gorgeous blade with a wonderful, flowing shape.

Is this the kind of EELL shine you're talking about?
