Yes, it's an SO9 EELL. I love nice shotguns, and before I got married and had kids, I had a handful of high end SxS shotguns...high end to me, anyway. I didn't have any London best guns. After the wife and kids, I couldn't justify them anymore and sold them. I've still got a circa 1899 L.C. Smith O grade and a Philly Fox Sterlingworth.

I read that quote in one of Jeff Cooper's columns and loved it, so it has stuck with me. An era ended when the colonel passed.

    Gary,
In one of you threads you talked of the resin you used to make the scales. You have one of my razors to polish/rescale now. The WB that I wanted purple/green scales. Anyway would your resin hold up to being cast into a brush handle blank to mach the razor? and is it "workable" such as cut in a lathe, drilled for the knot and polished with micromesh? It could be either a cube or a rough handle shape.

Don,Yes I can make that for you Ill make it out of resin and kevlar cloth you can turn it in a lathe and drill it,and it will polish to mirror finish,Im down in Trinidad right now ,but should be in the states on Monday.E mail me with your instructions at mel0220@att.net,and I'LL make you a pieceProbably be easiest to cast in a toilet paper tube or paper towel tube, if that diameter is ok,just tell me how long to make it.Regards Gary
