Yeah could be good. I was just throwing some ideas out there.

Let me know how you get on.

I'm gonna be receiving some chromox very soon and heard water being used as a medium. I think the toothpaste could be good. Hopefully it doesnt contain any harmful chemicals to metal. Although its ok to dontal fillings lol and braces.

Doesn't toothpaste already have compound in it?, you can polish with toothpase alone...

Most tooth paste has calcium carbonate as a grit which is softer than steel. I don't think that it would do much.

Although I have heard that some brand of tooth paste is switching to silicon dioxide (glorified beach sand probably) as a grit. This would work.

It will likely grind through steel and the enamel on your teeth as well. They got rid of silicon dioxide grit toothpaste in the 60s or something like that for this reason.

Can you imagine brushing your teeth at 30,000 SPM (strokes per minute) wouldn't take long to brush your teeth...............

    Good ideas guys.
if anything has been abnormal for a long enough period it then becomes normal.
