Turtle Wax - Premium Rubbing Compound
I used it for the first time last week when i could not seem to get rid of the last of the scratches in my blade. Works great.

I still used maas afterwards, thinking Turtle Wax is not a polish, but an abrasive right?

You may say that it is an abrasive to get a polish finish.

How does the premium turtle wax compare to simichrome and if I use turtle wax first, will maas afterwards make much of a difference?

Here is one that is really good, it was recommended for stroppig knives and it is deemed as finer grit than CrO. The original Adams #2 is not in production anymore, but the new #1 is described as having same abrasive.
