Thanked: 28There are available special rivets called 'cutlers rivets'. They have wide, flat heads and are supplied in pairs. One has a male shank and the other has a tubular female shank. They are an interference fit. You might need to file them to length for something as thin as a razor. Suppliers to the cutlery manufacturing trade carry them in various sizes, or you can make them yourself in a lathe. If my description isn't clear and you want me to post a drawing I will see if I can wrestle with the scanner.
I hope that was of some help.
Duncan.
