One For Randy
This one was sent to me by a friend of mind, Randydance, and he asked me to put scales on it. The blade is unused, but had a little pitting due to those wonderful DD scales offgassing. These scales are Philippine camagon, with a 20 layer CA finish and a malachite wedge.
P.S. Those spots on the blade are buffing compound, not pitting or rust. I didn't notice them before I took the pics.Last edited by Joe Chandler; 03-19-2008 at 02:58 AM.

Thanked: 4Really nice outcome... the scales a subtle and suit the blade perfectly.
You'd have to think that was the mark of truly classy work.
