    I would suggest sending JoshEarl a PM. He might be able to do a regrind, which would clean up the hone wear.

    He is currently working on a similar restoration project for me.

    Edit: Of course, Joe Chandler and Bill Ellis also do regrinds. And probably other people that I am not aware of.
