just a differing view... perhaps we could just use existing under utilized areas... such as the "gallery" where you can upload and manage your own picture files, that already exists... and then maybe even the "classified" section for those members whose only contributions to the site are for sale posts in b/s/t

I think I was looking for more like a Gallery... when you make a custom/semi-custom/resto it doesn't have to be for sale. Kinda like when you go to a tattoo parlor and you look at the book of each particular tattoo artist. That way you know who's work you like best.

Plus its also art. So I know I would like to display all my work in one place so I could just point to one link and say "this is what I have done" no matter where the razor ends up.

If it were just posting in Show and Tell as-is, it would be the same as posting in Restoration, so there wouldn't even be a change. This would be a "gallery" type area that is more accessible by being in with the normal forum threads. i.e.-

"Restoration"

Sub forum "questions/projects/work in progress"
-thread "how do I fix this problem"
-thread "etc."

Sub forum "Custom Gallery"
-Sub forum (or thread) "Philadelph"
-Sub forum "oSpannero"
-Sub forum "Cutz"
-etc.

Something like that. Then when I finish something, I post in my thread/sub forum. That way everything I have to offer (services, work style, etc.) can be viewed in one place. I think the problem with putting it in the Show and Tell section is that no one looks there to begin with.
