For those who use MAAS, question...
Do you let the polish sit on the metal a bit before buffing, or buff immediately?
Thanks

I usually buff immediately, since it is an abrasive, I reckon it only works when in motion.
Of course, I could be wildly wrong...

Thanked: 79I use it both ways. I think you aren't supposed to let it dry, though. Or perhaps the opposite is true. I don't have a tube of it in front of me, but I tend to follow the instructions when using by hand, but not so much if using with a dremel.

Well, all the instructions say is to put some on a cloth and apply. Buffer out with a clean soft cloth. That's it. Doesn't say immediately wipe it clean, or let it sit for 3 minutes or 10 minutes....

I'll chime in here with a somewhat related question. Where does everyone buy Maas??? I've checked Home Depot, Lowe's, and Auto Zone, and so far no luck.

Try Wal-Mart in the household cleaning section (where you would find brasso, etc.).

When I use MAAS I use it with a Dremel muslin polishing wheel. I use it immediately. I work the speed up slowly. Well, it is kind of cool to watch it spray all over if I forget and it the stuff at speed.

Thanked: 13249Gotta chime in with the both answer...
With dremmel, wipe on and off I go....
With a cloth I usually rub on with fingers and then let dry, and then buff off....
I finally found it in my little town at the ACE hardware store

I've looked at our small town Wal-Mart and they don't carry it. They did have Brasso. Also looked int he automotive section just to be sure they didn't screw up and put it there with the car polish (anything is possible at Wally), no luck. Will have to look when I'm in Tulsa next or buy it on ebay.
