I have MANY broken scales of all sorts of material.

This sounds great! I wish I could help you out but I only have three razors and still need the scales on them until I restore them. If you're still testing at that point I wouldn't mind sending a couple your way.

I think I've got a bunch of broken Ivory from a seven day set where most was unsalvagable. I am not home right now (on tour until June) but could maybe send something then if you can't find anyone else with Ivory. PM me if you need.

So its a rust removal product, that also..... Cleans scales?

It's early hours of the AM (Thursday ) and I missed where you went from talking about rust removal to wanting dud scales.....

I think it has to do with cleaning rust from a blade with the scales still on... especially at the pivot point. It would be nice to have a product the you could basically saturate the pivot point under the scales with and be sure the rust will all go away. That sounds kind of like a magic bullet to me, but hey, it's worth a shot.
