Need a Restorer? Restorer's-For-Hire GALLERY
EDIT by Bruno:
After a discussion among mods and admins, we have decided to make a change. The 'problem' is that this initiative conflicts with our existing vendor setup.
There are now basically 2 things you can do if you want to be known as a restorer:
a) post threads of your work in the new Gallery subforum
b) PM Don and get yourself registered as a vendor, and you will get your own thread in the vendor forum.
Hello everyone! I had this idea for a Restorer's-for-hire Gallery. In this thread restorer's who are available for work can post their work pics all in one place so that member's needing someone's service can pick and choose with a little more ease. This thread is NOT meant to be a discussion area for any of the work posted. Hopefully this can be made into a Sticky for easier reference.
Please read the rules before posting:
1) NO DISCUSSION/COMMENTS AT ALL.
2) Only post if you restore razors/make scales for other members on a "for hire" basis.
3) Please limit posts to pertinent information (i.e. Pictures, contact info, what kind of work you do. Try to keep descriptions to a minimum- the pictures hopefully speak for themselves).
4) If you need to update your pics/post/info, then make a new post with updated info/pics. This way, newer work will be in the most recent posts.
5) Try your best to limit the number of pics of each razor AND try to keep them in the thumbnail format.
6) No talk of prices in the thread.
7) Please contact Restorers OUTSIDE of this thread.
8) ENJOY THE GALLERY!!!

Fast turnaround, Please understand if I don't think I can complete your work in a timely and professional manner I will refer you to another restorer who might be able to....
I do Complete Restorations with Exotic wood scales.....
I however love doing original restorations keeping the razor as close to factory as possible.....
I enjoy working with any brand or type of razor, but my real loves are the German and American razors from 1900-1970...
There are plenty of pics of original restores I have done on this forum so I'll just post some pics of some recent exotics...
