Thanked: 2204I also ordered some. They should be arriving in a day or two. If you want to wait then I will take mine to Mike Blue and ask him. He has a Rockwell tester and that might be useful. Right now, based on the color and texture in the pic, I think they have been heat treated and possibly tempered as well. My assumption is that these have not been ground so they are a single concave shape direct from the stamping machine.
On mine, at a minimum, I will temper them again at 400 degrees for 1 hour, let cool to room temperature, which happens quicly, then back in the oven for another hour. The Rockwell test wil be informative.
Once we are sure that they have been heat treated and tempered then it is a matter of grinding, polishing and sharpening.
