I was cutting blanks for scales on a table saw and I had a kick back. It first smacked my thumb. I thought is was broken, fortunately it was just bruised. It then punched me in the gut, I had huge bruise. Then it bounced to my left forearm and left another nice bruise. I was wearing a face shield and a shop apron.

My hands are buggered all the time ,burns and cuts ,blood blisters I have several healing at the moment ,but I must concur I find brand new 80 grit belts hurt the most especially when half the fingernail is gone, and 40 grit belts are just a tad worse

But thing is, I surely cant be the only one to have hurt myself in the pursuit of restoration. Am I?

Come on, post your pics and show us your injuries....
Just quietly ,you don`t seem to have suffered a great deal

Maybe not, but its more than I want to suffer. Its also not the only injury i've suffered recently. The other is not straight razor related but is detailed elsewhere on this forum. (The kindness of strangers)
