Mind you the warping wasn't as bad as what you show on that GE, so keeping it pinned worked fine for my needs. I could see how unpinning might be necessary with certain warping.
I am going to attempt this pinned with a spacer method. But I was wondering, after you put it under the hot water, how do you keep the scales from warping in other directions since it's not supported as in the board method sixgun described?
