Thread: do it yourself razor paddle

if any of you do it your selfers are interested in doing a four sided razor strop. I turned my self a couple out of ivory wood and made some extras. They are ready to sand, stain and put your own leather on. They measure 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 by around 15inches will have them in the classifieds for 20 bucks plus shipping. I only have a few.

I've been thinking of making a 3" wide with an oak board. Would mind sharing with us where you're getting your leather?

I made a couple a while back from 1x4 red oak and 3" leather strips from Tandy, they work fine.

I bought some Hand american leather from Woodcraft. I can't find it on their website, but the local store had it right on their shelf.
