    Also, the scales look even better now (Alex: the scales in the i havent done anything to them yet), i got the dark colorations out of the scales, it was from where the tang rubbed inside of the scales, all it took was my scraping blade. You cant sand them because they will look milky forever if you do.

    I will take better pics at xmas, that will show what im talking about, as well as a picture of what im talking about using the cedar shim.

    Dude ! Nice job.

    Don't worry about milky looking scales. When sanding horn scales just progress to 2000 grit and they'll be crystal clear... but those ones look fine.
