any pic tutorials on how to grind a razor
i know it sounds kinda retarded, and the fact that im a carpenter doesnt make this any better for me having to ask this, but is there a specific way you want ot hold the razor aginst the grinder/sander?

I would respectfully say that if you are intent on grinding a razor and you need basic instructions like that you probably shouldn't be tackling that project just yet.

I'll go edge up the entire process. Go slow. It's a bit more complicated when you start grinding in curves an all, but in general, edge up. That's the only way I've found to maintain sharp, crisp grind lines. Everyone sort of figures out their own way to do it. Most people go edge up, but Harvey Dean (a really good flat grinder) grinds one side edge up, and one side edge down. Go figure.

I'm curious too, and have no intention of grinding anything. but I enjoying know the methods used to produce the things I use.
