Anyone tried this one out? I've been eyeing it, but haven't pulled the trigger. It seems like a pretty good price. I bought my regular microscope through this company and everything worked out OK.

That and the OP's look the same actually. And look at the first review...

    positive points:
    - build quality
    - great image quality
    - high resolution
    - useful stand
    - supported on Linux (a must for me)

Cons: - after a few months a greasy substance appeared on the adjustment ring but I could wipe it off.

Other Thoughts: can't say andything about the quality of the included Windows-drivers and software as I use the product on Linux.

Bottomline: A great, useful tool, I don't want to miss it anymore. It's also way cheaper than in stores over here in Europe - electronics supply companies list the exact same product for three times the price you get it shipped here on DX...

these usb microscopes have been around for years, and they work pretty good for the price.

Thanks for that example of 200x. Is there any chance that you could post a similar video of the edge at 100x. That would be very helpful.

    Regards - Walt
