Default Making a 7 day set of Double Arrows !!!!

Thought you guys might wanna come along on this one, I am making a 7 day set of Double Arrows for one of our members here...

They will be all the same except each one will have a different type of exotic wood for the scales....

From front to back they are:

    Black & White Ebony
    Ziricote'
    Purpleheart
    Leopardwood
    Wenge'
    Kingwood
    Amboyna Burl

This is the very beginnings of the process, I just sanded them out to roughly the same shape and size...
The biggest pain when doing 7 days sets is the part of trying to get them all the same... Even when it comes to just the honing you have to try and get each one exactly the same...

I will keep adding pics as they get closer and closer....

Cool! What a fun way to make a 7 day set! Those scales look like they'll be great looking! I look forward to watching the project come along.
What will the box be like?

Actually the Box for the set will be made by Tim / Oldblades as soon as I give him the measurements of the razors he will start on it....

What a beautiful choice of woods, Glen. I can't wait to see this progress! Very cool!

After Glen is done with them, the owner should send them to you to tweak the spines. You're getting pretty good at that lipstick/pig stuff!

I was wondering the same thing. Very curious how that goes. Maybe grind/file a flat spot on each spine and engrave it?
