    Take a look at this page here and just get one of these demagnetizers that is large enough to take a blade.
    Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

    I thought about hitting the blade on something hard, but I was under the impression that to demagnetize metal you need to impact it pretty hard. I didn't want to be knocking my razors around too hard.

    Thanks for the link Jimmy. I had no idea demagnetizers existed. Looks like Woodcraft carries a magnetizer/demagnetizer for $6. I'll have to pick one up this weekend and give it a go.

    I do have similar experience to your. Either here or on B&B is post about how to botch demagnetiser that your razors will fit.
