My Family is from Vienna, and I think the proper way to dissemble a razor would be to write down every step along the way, and store those notes with all other notes, for later reference. Then After labeling all spare parts from said razor, Research all avenues to rescale razor( make a NASA moon landing look sloppy) and bitch about your "hellish predicement" for at least a month over beers with your friends.

My Irish half thought it was funny! Sad to say I too thought I could pick up a few pointers to help DH w/restoration. We haven't taken any apart just yet and I thought I may learn something, and I did. Braking scales happens to the best of us.

Well, 0livia is taking care of this one. Not just because she's a rather charming person, but also because she can. Need another blade for those pink horn scales. Need.

I am As One with Step 2. Therefore I now use extreme caution and can take up to 15 minutes to remove a scale. It all works very well until the scale breaks anyway and I move quickly into Step 3. Olivia's scales have saved the day for me on more than one occasion.. which reminds me... go to Olivia's site and get more scales..
